Toldfield Architects Ltd is a contemporary architectural practice, based in Southampton, Hampshire, specialising in residential developments, “mixed use” developments, new homes, extensions and commercial schemes. **
Toldfield Architects was established in 2015 following the merger of Tony Oldfield Architects (established in 1991 by Tony Oldfield) and Kourosh Design Studio, established in 1999 by Kourosh Jamriz-Shirazi. Based in Southampton, this small architecture firm offers expert knowledge to all types of property development project, from large scale commercial flat renovations to new-build private homes all over Hampshire and surrounding areas.
As a modern, design-focused architect’s practice with over 20 years’ experience in delivering projects for the built environment, schemes have successfully been procured for the following land use sectors and areas of project involvement. We provide a wide range of services, from planning applications and site inspections through to conceptual design and construction co-ordination. We are proud to have worked with diverse clients from Southampton to Winchester, bringing together elegance and practicality, down to the smallest details. Our Philosophy
Established in 2015 in Southampton, Toldfield Architects unites the skills and experience of Kourosh Jamriz-Shirazi and Adi Puplampu (former senior architect of Tony Oldfield), creating an exciting, talented team of contemporary architects. With wide ranging experience, from planning and design, all the way through to planning applications and even interior design and final construction, Toldfield’s team work closely with each client, keeping their needs and goals front and centre at all times.
Both architects have successfully delivered a wide range of projects, from large multi-unit property developments to small bespoke extensions, home renovations and commercial schemes in Hampshire, Dorset, Sussex and London.
The practice’s design approach involves listening to requirements, analysing and translating the objectives and ultimately providing innovative interior design solutions with inspiration drawn from the context with client goals always in mind. We work with a trusted network of contractors, interior designers and engineers from Southampton to Winchester, who have been proven to bring the best results every time
